Wakefield College

Wakefield College plays a leading role in regional regeneration, offering skills for employability locally and regionally. As the largest college in the District, the College has an impressive track record, having provided education and training in Wakefield and its surrounding area since 1868. Ofsted inspected the College in spring 2014, and the Inspection report made great reading for staff and students. The report said that Wakefield College is rated ‘Good’ overall, and praised the College -

The College is continuing its own investment in the District for the benefit of the local community, with major developments at the Castleford Campus, the City Campus, regeneration of Lightwaves and a new Performing Arts Centre on Wood Street.
