Junction 32 Yorkshire Outlet Shopping has outlined a number of additional health and safety measures ahead of the reopening of stores later this month.

The centre is preparing for non-essential retail stores to open on the 15 June 2020, in line with government guidelines.

A number of additional safety measures will be put in place, including hand sanitiser points located throughout the centre and masks issued to cleaning and security staff.

A two-way system will be in place to ensure social distancing can be maintained and capacity will be limited, while a queuing system will be introduced for entry to the centre. Signs and floor markings will also be in place to help remind guests to keep a safe distance apart.

Darren Winter, centre director at Junction 32, said: "We're working hard to ensure we adhere to all government guidelines at Junction 32, and will be taking a robust approach to cleanliness and hygiene.

"As well as the thorough cleaning of the centre, we will be using floor markings and signs to remind guests to keep the required distance apart, will be providing hand sanitiser for guests and staff to use at a number of points throughout the centre, and our security and concierge teams will be available to help manage queuing."
