WAKEFIELD FIRST'S MAKER OF THE MONTH: HOLLY GREENWOOD DESIGN

Holly Greenwood is founder of Holly Greenwood Design a local print designer and illustrator based in Wakefield who makes bold and colourful artwork aimed at bringing happiness and colour into homes.

Wakefield First caught up with Holly to find out more about her Creative Business in Wakefield:

“I make art prints, greetings cards, stationery, and textiles. Alongside offering bespoke illustrations such as wedding stationery, pet portraits, murals and more. I sell my work online and through local stockists.

I currently work from home in the Alverthorpe area, however from February I am moving my business into my new studio at Westgate studios. I’m really excited about this move as It’s my first proper art studio and will be great to be in the centre of Wakefield. 

I love Wakefield because it’s my home. I think Wakefield is a fabulous, creative and inspiring place and I am really proud to be a part of the creative industry in Wakefield.

I am looking forward to moving into my new studio on Westgate and continuing to grow my business and establish myself as an artist. I will be working on a new print collection and am hoping to expand the bespoke illustration side of my business.
