Castleford Young Market Trader Event

The Castleford Young Market Trader event aims to provide a platform for aspiring entrepreneurs aged 16-30 to showcase their business acumen and products at the newly refurbished Castleford Indoor Market.
This event not only encourages local talent but also serves as a gateway for participants to progress to regional and national levels with the National Market Traders Federation (NMTF).
Each trader will have the opportunity to compete for a chance to progress to regional and national finals with NMTF.
Applicants can either be starting a new business or already have one.
Wakefield First Business advisors will support young traders each step of the way, offering a bespoke pick n mix of business modules ranging from Bookkeeping to help understand financial management and keeping accurate records, to marketing supporting with developing effective marketing strategies to promote their products and brand.
The event will be judged by an esteemed panel and the 3 winners will be awarded a place at the regional final in Skipton on the 4th August.
