Meet the speakers
Sam Pawson is the Head of Employment and a Partner at Chadwick Lawrence LLP, having qualified as a solicitor in 2012 with 15 years of expertise in Employment Law. Sam’s primary focus is the firm’s outsourced employment support package, Box HR. He specialises in key areas such as discrimination, TUPE, and restructuring and redundancies.
James O'Neil is the Client Engagement Director for recruiter Hays across Yorkshire. James has worked for Hays for 20 years, during which time he led the Wakefield Hays Office for 10 years, recruiting and partnering with many, local manufacturing businesses. James will provide an overview of the UK Employment market, highlighting trends and data from sources including the Office of National Statistics, CIPD and Hays. James will give some local, anecdotal commentary on salaries, hybrid working, ideas to tackle skills shortages and considerations to improve attraction and attrition.
