MindFit Project: assisting organisations create productive, high-performing cultures through coaching and workshops

They offer workshops and coaching in which they utilise neuroscience and psychology to assist people in understand their own minds, learning to regulate emotions and perform at their very best.
Their mission as a business is to not make this practise a last resort, but a daily routine.
The business was recently founded in May 2025 and are based in Wakefield. They chose Wakefield to base their business as they live in the area, and are deeply passionate about supporting local business and becoming an active member in local communities.
"Wakefield is an exceptional location for business because it combines strategic connectivity, economic growth, and a supportive business ecosystem."
"Wakefield’s strong business networks, including the Wakefield First initiative and Chamber of Commerce, foster collaboration, skills growth, and access to funding and support programmes."
At Wakefield First, we were able to support MindFit Project through their start-up process, guiding them to the relevant collaborators, networking opportunities, 1-2-1 advice sessions, and much more.
"My Start-Up Manager, Shabana Yousaf-McIntyre, has been a huge support, guiding me through the early stages of building a business. She has supported me with idea, introduced me to collaborations, and introduced me to other start-ups through networking events and 1-2-1 meet ups. I have gained clients directly from the guidance provided by Shabana."
"I am incredibly proud of the impact Mindfit has already made with organisations I have supported, helping leaders, teams, and individuals build resilience, reduce burnout, and perform at their best through neuroscience-based mental fitness training. Beyond the results, I am proud to be part of a growing movement that’s changing how organisations view mental health, from something reactive, to something proactive and strategic."
The business has lots of exciting plans for the future, including growth through group coaching programmes, based of the workshops they currently deliver.
