SwiftDoctor

At Wakefield First, we were able to offer them free, unbiased, curated support to ensure their business had a successful start to its life in the Wakefield District.

SwiftDoctor co-founder, Dr Bano, commented:

"We’re really grateful for the incredible support we’ve received as a new small business in Wakefield. Our Start-Up Manager, Shabana Yousaf-McIntyre, has been invaluable in guiding us through the early stages of building SwiftDoctor. She has supported us with fresh ideas, encouraged collaborations, and introduced us to other local businesses through networking events, 1-2-1 meetings, and follow-ups."

"Through Wakefield Council’s partnerships, we’ve also had access to excellent webinars and training sessions where we learned the basics of business and marketing skills we had no prior knowledge of. Being introduced to the Wakefield AD:venture programme has given us access to business consultant support, which has been exactly what we needed as first-time business owners. Without this guidance, we would have felt completely alone navigating the business world."

"We are so thankful for the time, dedication, and support provided it has made a huge difference to our journey as a new SME in Wakefield."

At Wakefield First, we provide free, unbiased, tailored business support to companies throughout the district. We're eager to help businesses, like the SwiftDoctor, establish or expand their operations in Wakefield.
