Wakefield's Cinnamon Lounge 'delighted' at winning prestigious national award
The eatery was a winner in the Best Restaurant Category at this year's Curry Life Awards.
Shamsul, who is also head chef at the restaurant on Bridge Road, said: "Our customers have been coming here for the last 15 years or so - we love their support and we're thrilled to win this award.
"We have a real family atmosphere in the restaurant, and we know many of our customers by their names.
"Our success is very much a team effort. Cooking is my passion and I love creating dishes for my family and customers."
Cinnamon Lounge which has built up a solid reputation among local diners.
Shamsul describes the cuisine as ‘authentic Asian’ and reminiscent of home-style cooking, with dishes keeping the same spices and heat as you would find in Bangladesh, and others featuring a twist adapted to different palates.
