Join the We Are Wakefield business community for a morning of networking and collaboration.
Their May event takes you to The Quarry Restaurant in Horbury where we'll be hearing from Wakefield District Community Foundation CEO, Craig Shepherd as he takes centre stage as key speaker.
“The Community Foundation: Wakefield District turns 15 years old in May this year and, with renewed direction, harbours an ambition to fulfil its mission to ‘Inspire Local Giving, Support Communities and Change Lives’. With over £1.75m given in recent grants, impacting over 30,000 people within the district. Although the subject of Corporate Social Responsibility is recognised by businesses they are usually blissfully unaware of the impact they can have on the communities they serve and how they can contribute. The Community Foundation’s CEO, Craig Shepherd, will provide an insight on their work in the district and what the future holds while also providing evidential case studies on the benefits of CSR – the why and the how."
