SEND ‘Next steps’ careers event 2024

Could you be an employer of a young person with special educational needs or a disability (SEND)?
We have seen some of our young people with SEND successfully take on jobs and apprenticeships in sectors such as administration, retail, catering, care and education.
Wakefield Council’s Preparation for Adulthood Team are hosting a SEND ‘Next Steps’ careers event on Tuesday 1st October 2024 at Wakefield Trinity Stadium from 10:00am to 6:00pm, and would like to invite you as a prospective employer to come along and host a stall, telling young people about your industry, or simply to come along and discover more about what our young people have to offer you.
