Council starts town centre drop in sessions for businesses

Wakefield First business support provides FREE tailored business support to Wakefield district-based enterprises to help them achieve their objectives across many areas including recruitment, apprenticeships, access to funding, business strategy, upskilling their team, networking, business growth planning, and anything else.

Over the next few months, the business support team are putting extra focus and resources into Castleford Town Centre particularly as the Towns Fund activities gain momentum.

Business Support Advisors will be based in the Indoor Market in Castleford offering drop-in support and advice every second Thursday of the month. Depending on the amount of engagement these sessions receive, this service may be rolled out to other towns across the district in the future.
